Immigration: Study Permit

To qualify, the applicant must have been formally admitted into a Canadian school and be able to prove that he or she has sufficient funds to pay for studies and living expenses during the time he or she is in Canada. The Canadian immigration authorities will also assess the applicant to determine whether they believe the person will likely return to his or her home country after completion of studies in Canada.
