  • Appointment typically take 1.5 to 3 hours

  • If you are married with young children, your spouse is typically the best choice for an executor and alternate executors/guardians are usually nearby siblings

  • If you are married with adult children, your spouse is typically the best choice for an executor and alternate executors are usually adult children

  • If you are single with adult children, the adult children usually make good executors

  • If you are single without (adult) children, nearby siblings usually make good executors
