Located in downtown Calgary, I am a lawyer, practicing primarily in the area of immigration law, and a notary public and commissioner for oaths professionally licensed within the Province of Alberta. As an immigration lawyer in Calgary, I have experience with the following categories of permanent residency immigration applications: skilled worker immigration; immigration through family and spousal (common law partner) sponsorship; provincial nominee program immigration; business class immigration; and immigration through the increasingly popular Canadian experience class. Whether you are an employer or a temporary foreign worker, I can also assist with obtaining Canadian work permits and labour market opinions. In addition, I can help you to obtain study permits or temporary resident visas to allow you to live and study in Canada.
Aside from my work as an immigration lawyer, I provide a number of other legal services. Such legal services include: wills and estate planning, uncontested divorces, separation agreements, and prenuptial agreements. Notary public and commissioner for oaths services that I provide are: notarizing affidavits, statutory declarations, certified copies (often used for the purpose of immigrating to Canada), letters of consent to travel (for trips outside of Canada), letters of invitation to Canada, personal guarantees required for many business loans in Alberta, Canadian passport application documents, and Canadian immigration documents, among others. I believe that Calgary is a great place to live and I am proud to offer my legal services to those who have chosen to make Calgary their home. Whether you require an immigration lawyer or other legal services, I would be happy to be your lawyer. Please contact me at (403) 303-3208 or at russ@russweninger.com to book an appointment.
